Vanni Cuoghi Artwork

Creatively, Florence revived all my artistic needs. I wanted to see everything. No small detail went unnoticed. My senses were on fire and I started drawing and painting anything I could. Sleep was an inconvenience because I knew that my time was limited there. I realized that I needed to learn fast and grab my moments. I felt welcomed, and no one was laughing in art class about my style of drawing. I was encouraged and praised by my coaches. It felt wonderful to be accepted. Coming to class meant days to create new pieces and not feel judged. Art was new again, so I tried new styles and overspent, buying too many paints and canvases! I added the amazing artwork by the brilliant Vanni Coughi from Milan, Italy. I have placed his talents throughout the book to represent the perfect blending of art and food.
